Hace muy poco que dedique tiempo en escuchar esta banda Californiana, y me a dejado sin cabeza, es que con su Thrash/Speed metal que practican es de mi paladar preferido y que no he dejado de escuchar, simplemento lo recomiendo a quienes buscan velocidad y brutalidad a 1000km/hora, sin duda un infaltable para el L.O.A. de este sabado.

El comienzo de esta banda de death/thrash mas bien tirado para el death en este EP, muchos concuerdan que de este EP, el demo "Death Metal" de possessed, y el demo de mantas "Death by Metal" ya hace los comienzos del death metal, bueno sin dar mas vueltas les dejo este tremendo EP! de lo mejor de la vieja escuela del death metal y con las letras traducidas en español para saber que cresta dicen.

Tinieblas - Tormento (09)

Los choreros de Tinieblas han puesto a disposición del publico, y de manera gratuita, su LP Tormento lanzado el año pasado.

Los oriundos de Talcahuano, grabaron Tormento entre los meses de Abril y Junio del 2009 en los estudios Pato Records en Concepción, con Patricio Saez.

Según Cristian Peralta, guitarra y voz de Tinieblas, la decisión de la banda de distribuir el LP gratuitamente por la red pasó “solo por un asunto de difusión, ya que es el primer disco de la banda“.

De paso nos comenta que para fines de este año, Tinieblas entrará a grabar su segundo disco. “Con todas las ganas de que quede lo mas profesional posible” agrega Peralta.

Despues de casi 4 años, los Death Metaleros de HOMICIDE oriundos de Quilicura, Chile, han decidido liberar de forma gratuita su disco ACCEPTED PLEASINGGLY, que por motivos internos de la banda nunca pudo ser lanzado al medio. Este material fue grabado y editado de forma autonoma por la banda.

Aqui les dejo el comunicado oficial de la banda: "(…) Solo decir que muchas gracias por el apoyo a todos los que nos han seguido durante todos estos años de historia musical y esperemos que lo disfruten y nuestras disculpas por la demora a nuestros amigos y seguidores".

The Unholy Sounds of the Demon Bells - A Tribute to Mercyful Fate (99)

Corre el Año 99, y los Japoneses de SNOW RECORDS, deciden desarrollar un disco tributo a la mitica banda Heavy/Black MERCYFUL FATE, y para ello convocan a bandas emergentes de la epoca el cual destacan SOILWORK, VITAL REMAINS, entre otros. Se seleccionaron temas desde el MERCYFULFATE EP (Nuns Have No Fun) del 82´ hasta el TIME del 94´.

A mi gusto, todos los covers son muy buenos, algunos con un sonido mas denso y ambiental, otros mas pesados con riifs y solos de guitarra de gran vertigo, ademas de la genial portada emulando al clasico y unos de los mejores discos de la banda "Don´t Break The Oath". Este es otro material imperdible para todos los fanaticos del Rey Diamante y la guitarra de Hank Sherman, hasta la proxima.-
